What the junk? A high of 54 tomorrow??? It's May not February!! This girl has had enough of this COLD NJ weather.
I had my final interview for the Christian counseling Masters program tonight. I should know in a week if I got in or not. I want to be selfish and ask that you pray that I get in. I really want and need this. But overall I need God's will in my life...so I'll let you know what happens!!
OK, tomorrow I am for sure posting those pics I promised!:) Night!!

Oh my goodness. Another week has just FLOWN by. I cannot believe how completely crazy busy I have been lately. This summer is going to be the exact same way too. It is both good and bad at the same time. Wow. But through all of this I am truly enjoying how good God is and how He totally provides for me. Sometimes I still can't believe what an awesome job I have, and what a cool place I live in, and what amazing family and friends I have. (You!)
Here are two highlights from last week:
I organized a YL girls overnight. I made dinner and the girls came over here and we totally devoured the lasagna. Who knew Stouffers would be so popular? lol Then we went to Eastern PA for the night. Some of my YL girls are from PA and they come over here for club. (It is only about a 30 minute drive...see God is already preparing me to work with PA kids at some point.;)) Anyway, I told them that we could spend the rest of the night over there. So, they drove us all around, showing us the "happening" spots. We went to Quakertown for Starbucks, got chased by 16-year-old boys (I was ducking in the backseat laughing so hard I thought I was going to pee my pants...it was a total flashback, but one I could have done without!!lol) ,went and played on a swingset, went to a "haunted" old house, saw their "beer can" house, got a tour of their school and houses, and went on tons of back roads. One of the roads actually went through two creeks. We literally had to go through the water to get to the otherside. It was too funny. The water wasn't that deep - but that gives you a picture about how rural it is here (and there!). We then ended our evening by board games, telling stories and falling asleep. We woke up to pancakes and more talking. It was great to spend so much time with them...and to be a part of a slumber party.
My second highlight was this weekend. I went to Kristin's on Sat. after the overnight was over. (Yes, battled The Beltway once again - I swear the 495 is out to get me...) We had the best time. I'm sad we won't get to hang out again until later July. Anyway, we rented a movie, ate good food (Italian, Spanish and Mexican - oh we are so adventurous), went shopping, went to The District, and attended her awesome church. It was a much needed "mini vacation" for me. PTL!
The low-carb diet is going well - although I do go "on and off." I think I have lost 8 pounds so far. Not bad. Back to it again tomorrow!!
Well, I did my laundry last week and it is still not put back. So, I better get going. I told myself I needed to get my upstairs back to normal tonight. Then tomorrow I am tackling my downstairs (all those dishes!!). I feel like I am constantly cleaning up after kids even though I don't have any. Well, technically I don't.;)
I hear it is warm in CA! I am so jealous!! I am ready for some warm weather...I am still having to put my electric blanket on at night. What's up with that?
I'll post some recent pics very soon!

It's 1 AM and I should be sleeping...but I know that it has been FOREVER since I have posted on my blog so I knew I wanted to catch up with you all. I was just reading through all of yours (or at least the ones that I know of:)) and thought I would quickly get you up to speed on my life. Sleep can wait, right?;) Although morning Ashley will be hating night Ashley in just a few hours...lol
I had a great week. My dad arrived last Saturday. Sunday we went to a movie and out to eat. Just generally visited and hung out. Monday we went to NYC to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We made it there in 45 minutes. That is the quickest so far for me! It was great. We left at 5:15 though. Note to self - never try driving home during rush hour if not necessary! Well, it WAS necessary as I had a meeting to get back to (campaigners) - but it (the drive) was awful. Took us 2 hours. ANYWAY, Tues. we went back to the city for a Yankees game. They won. And I had my first "dirty dog" experience. I lived!! Wed. my dad went golfing and I worked (but he came to my YL club). Thursday we drove to Lancaster (went all over the back roads there), up to Lewisburg, then up to Williamsport...then stopped in Danville for some dinner. Just in case any of you are from Danville I won't make any comments, but it was a memorable experience. But I still LOVE central PA! Then home. Whew! I think we saw just about everything there is to see in PA...lol. Then Friday I had a staff meeting ALL day (last one of the year though! But I do love my staff friends) and then my dad and I went to The Cucco's for dinner and after that watched Hotel Rwanda. Rent it! Yesterday I dropped my dad off in Philly at the airport, and then drove to D.C. to be with Kristin. Her place is awesome! We had fun hanging out. I love having a sister so close! Now I am back in Flemington today and ready to start another busy week. It will be busy with work...but no worries - that's a good thing!
My summer is just going to fly by! I will post my schedule at some point so that way you all will know where I am (and can write me;)) but it is too hard to do at (now 1:10!) this time of the morning.:)
I will try to write more very soon with a more exciting blog - rather then just a "rundown" of the past week. Hope you all are well. Big time blessings and love to you!

We are having our first Wyld Life meeting tonight...7-8:30 EST. I am sooo nervous. The high school leaders are really looking forward to this evening. Please pray for us, and that LOTS of kids will come on out to Ringoes. I am busy getting ready for tonight so I can't type much. Just wanted to ask you to please talk to the Lord on our behalf.
Thanks - I'll let you know what happens.:)

Happy May!!!
Thanks to Kristin I now know how to post pics. Yay! Thanks Kristin! Hopefully I will now be able to increase your "Ashley-blog-fun" by adding pics on a more consistent basis!!!:)
This weekend was fun - but busy! Kristin came and visited me, I had my art and silent auction last night (we more then doubled our profits from last year...PTL!!!), and right now I am waiting for kids to come over to my house. Whew!!
My dad is coming to visit on Saturday. I'm excited about that. This week will fly by so I'm sure he will be here before I know it. I have my first Wyld Life meeting (with middle schoolers) on Tuesday night. Please pray for all of us involved...we are so nervous!!
Tomorrow Dr. Atkins is going to be my new best friend...lol Yep, those evil carbs are going bye-bye. I have gained 15 pounds since I moved to Jersey. Yikes! It is my mission to take it off as quickly as possible. So if I am grumpy, you'll know why...ha ha ha. Ugh, why do I love chocolate so much? But, my toes (and knee!! lol) are all better so it is back to exercising again, which is kinda nice.
Well, gotta run. The kids should be here any minute. Call me if ya wanna chat! I have so much more to say. (So what else is new??;)
